Lab 2: Tissues (Part 1)


During the lab period:

  1. Lecture on Chapter 4 (Tissues).
  2. Discussion of tissue identification keys.
  3. Work on Part 1 of the System Assignment for tissues, using the tissue flashcards you were given.

Before the next lab period:

  1. Complete Part 1 in the System Assignment.
  2. The next lab will be dedicated to testing your key using prepared slides of the various tissues for which you are responsible.
    • Make sure you bring a rough draft of your key so I can give you comments.
    • One rough draft per lab group is fine, but each person will need to turn in his/her own when the project is submitted for a grade.
  3. Make sure you have a bound notebook for your Histology Notebook for the next lab.
    • If you don’t know what I mean by bound, please ask.
