Assistant Professor Degrees B.S., Albertus Magnus College, New Haven, CT M.S., Central Connecticut State College, New Britain, CT I teach introductory course to students in health career programs and non-science majors on both the Brockton and Canton campuses. Recent advances in biotechnology have made biology an exciting discipline to teach and to study. Scientific discoveries exploring the human genome will have an impact on the students and their families. I want my students to be aware of bioethical, social and legal issues that may result from advances in biotechnology. To keep updated on current research, I participate in the Whitehead Institute Partnership for Science Education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. This program offers lectures, lab tours and lab demos. The partners are eager to answer questions and discuss their own field of expertise. I enjoy being a participant in this program.
