The Process of Reading
Reading involves four processes:
1. Decoding the printed word.
2. Comprehending the meaning of these words
3. Reacting to the meaning of words.
4. Using some of the information gained through reading.

Characteristics of a Successful College Student
1. The successful college student has a clear educational goal.
2. The successful college student has good study skills.
3. The successful college student has the will to succeed.
4. The successful college student recognizes that the college years offer a
unique opportunity for intellectual development and is
willing to
subordinate his other concerns to take advantage of that
opportunity. |
