M.Ed., Boston State College, Boston, MA.

Additional studies (forty-five hours beyond Masters Degree, mainly in science) with credits from Harvard University (Cambridge MA), Northeastern University (Boston, MA), Simmons College (Boston, MA), University of Southern Maine, State University of New York at Stony Brook, State University of New York at Brockport, Boston State College.

Academic Interests: Biology; Earth Science, and Science in General.

My career began over thirty years ago with four years in histochemistry at the Forsyth Dental Center in Boston. As a Research Assistant I assisted Dr. Roy Wuthier in basic research into the role of lipids in tissue calcification. Desiring to spend more time combining science and people I entered the teaching profession where I spent thirty-three years implanting academic seeds of biology, chemistry, and earth science into the minds of high school students. At present I intend to share my passion for biology with those at Massasoit Community College.

Professional Associations: National Association of Biology Teachers; Massachusetts Association of Biology Teachers (past President, Membership Chair, and Treasurer); Massachusetts Marine Educators; Greater Boston Earth Science Teachers.
