- You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDF files. This is a free download.
- Course Materials. These are PDF copies of all the materials handed out in class.
- The board notes for each class are posted on line. Go to the Board Notes link to access the files. They are posted as PDF files, so be sure you have Acrobat Reader.
- Audio Streaming and Podcasts. Go to the Audio site, select your class and month, click on audio and follow the directions. Audio streaming will allow you to listen to the lectures on your computer, but they cannot be downloaded.To download files to your computer, follow the directions to subscribe to podcasting. You do not need an iPod to listen to the files. You can listen to them in iTunes (free download) or burn them to a CD to use in a CD player.
- Audio Archives - these are lectures from previous semesters which you may use if you encounter problems with the current audio files
- Sample Tests. These are available on this site and will give you an idea of what a test looks like, and some practice answering questions. Do not expect the tests you take to be identical to these samples!
- Pronunciations Merck Manual Online Medical Library
- Lab Model Photos Do not use the Firefox browser with the model links. Use IE or Safari.
- Dissection Photos Sheep brain, sheep heart and cat dissections. Use links in the menu for practice pictures from the lab with leader lines.
- Preparing for Exams - designed for Biological Principles but contains helpful hints for everyone. You will have to develop your own vocabulary list.
- Scientific Writing - Hints on how to prepare lab reports.
