Professor Degrees B.S., Fitchburg State College M.A.T., Bridgewater State College Academic Interests I have been a teacher for over 30 years. When I first began teaching I taught Life and Physical Sciences at the Garner Junior High in Gardner, MA. After teaching in Gardner for six years I went back to school and earned my MAT. My graduate studies were concentrated in the field of microbiology. After graduate school I taught at Florida A&M University, Wheaton College, and Massasoit. At Massasoit I usually teach Biological Principles and Microbiology. In the Spring semester of 2002, I piloted a new course in Human Genetics. Other Interests I enjoy gardening and visiting botanical gardens. I am certainly not an expert gardener since I kill as many plants as I grow. My husband plays guitar in a blues/early rock band so we spend lots of time listening to music.
