Cliff Martin
Degrees: B.S. (Mathematics) University of Massachusetts, Amherst M.Ed. (Mathematics) Bridgewater State College Academic Interests: After a two-year commitment as an officer in the United States Army Air Defense, I started teaching mathematics at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School . Having taught everything from General Math I Basic to Calculus, 33 years later, including 14 years as the Mathematics Curriculum Coordinator, I retired in July of 2002 and joined the Massasoit Community College faculty as an adjunct instructor. As president (past 15 years) of the Mathematics and Computer Science Collaborative (MACS) at Bridgewater State College, I remain active in providing K-12 Southeastern Massachusetts teachers with professional development aimed towards conveying mathematical content and improving teaching and learning strategies. I am also interested in increasing the articulation between Massasoit Community College and local high schools.
